Emily Osment American Youngster, Actress, Singer And Writer

Emily Osment is an American youngster, actress, singer and song writer. She was born on March 10, 1992. Her mother Theresa Osment is a teacher, and father Michael Eugene Osment, an actor. Her brother Haley Joel Osment also had acting experience before her.

Emily first started her career in showbiz at the age of 6 with a commercial for flower Delivery Company. In 1999 she made her acting debut in movie “The Secret Life of Girls”. In the same year, she got a supporting role in film “Sarah, Plain and Tall: Winter’s End” and won a Young Artist Award nomination. Emily played a major role in the big screen in 2002 in “Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams” and won Young Artist Award for Best Performance. Three years later, Emily joined the Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana” which was a huge success. In 2012, she has declared to be guest star in an episode of “Life With Boys” and four episodes of “Family Guy”.

Apart from acting Emily also lent her voice to several cartoon characters like Trick in Christmas television special “Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Didn’t Happen”. Emily Osment sang for the first time several soundtracks for “Holidaze” in 2006. She was then appointed as a featured guest in Billy Ray’s 2007 song “You’ve Got a Friend”. She joined Mitchel in a remake of Randy Newman’s song “I Didn’t Have You”. In 2008 she wrote and sang songs for Eve 6.

Emily Osment sang her debut solo “All the Way Up” came out on Radio Disney in 2009. In the same year, her mini album called “All the Right Wrongs” was released which included a theme song for her TV movie “Dadnapped”. Emily had her full length album in 2010. She worked with producer Matt Squire; also wrote songs for his album. Emily is now willing to work on some folk music.
